Day 100

100/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

I hit triple digits today, so I found it fitting to shoot a triptych. 1-0-0 baby!
I'm pretty stoked to have made it this far. I went back through the project today and I can honestly say I'm really proud of about a quarter of my pictures, and I enjoy all of them (which is much better than I would have guessed a hundred days ago). Taking pictures has become a regular part of my day, and I honestly can't think of many things that I've done consistently for the last 100 days other than take pictures. What have you done everyday for the last 100 days? Basic things like eating, brushing your teeth and showering are obvious, but how often do you do something non-essential, something you actually enjoy?

I would encourage everyone to do something like this, whether it's photography or cooking or singing or underwater basket weaving, whatever. It's fun, it's engaging, it gets the juices flowing and above all it's satisfying.
