Day 94

I am surrounded by great people wherever I go. A few of them also happen to make some good food.

 My timing has been terrible today. It was the first day of school and I didn't have class until 2 p.m., which means I basically had all morning to do nothing and I pissed it away. My friend Kira was making crepes before her 8 a.m. class for all to enjoy, but I missed out on them because I didn't wake up early enough. I handled some random things after waking up, and planned on getting this shot of the bike paths that I have been thinking about for a while. I went at the wrong time of day, though, and I sat perched on top of a building for 20 minutes before I eventually had to give up and go eat lunch. Then, on my way to class, the perfect picture opportunity presented itself, and I didn't have my camera. Then to top it all off, I got to sit in the same room for 2 back to back classes totaling 6 hours. By the end I was starving and my bladder was about to explode.

All things considered, today was great though. At least when I failed at taking my picture, I was outside and it was beautiful (and I caught a couple of freshman bike crashes). In my 6 hours of classes I got to hang out with my friends and laugh at bollywood musicals. Having a lazy morning was a nice way to ease into the quarter. And after dinner, I went over to Kira's and she made me this delicious crepe for dessert. Chalk this one up as a W.
