Day 101

Totally missed the picture I wanted to take today, which is totally fine because I'll have more opportunities. Instead I went night shooting on campus which was actually pretty cool.  
I really like taking pictures at night, you can do a lot more with a lot less light and it's easy to make things look eerie and unfamiliar. Tonight, though, I didn't have any flashes with me, so I had to resort to super long shutter speeds. Thankfully, my hands are pretty steady (this exposure was about a second long if I remember correctly). I really liked the color of the sodium vapor lamp under this tree, and the sky was a nice blue, so I went with this one. Next time I'm gonna bring some lights (and maybe even an assistant/friend/roommate) and play around a bit more!
