Day 98

98/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

Today was a yard sale (shit was all over the place!)
It's the first full week of classes and people are fighting over them like crazy because it's so impacted. I crashed a class early this morning, and hopefully I'll get in. I was told I would get into the second class I was crashing, but apparently my teacher is a LIAR, and I got swooped by some seniors. After a lot of stress, some research, and some begging I was able to get an add code to a class. I put the post it with the code in my pocket, put in my headphones, and skated home. When I got there, I went to add my class, and the slip of paper was nowhere to be found. After 10 minutes of agonizing, I skated back to the film building and amazingly, I found the slip of paper waiting for me in the stairwell. I thanked the heavens, put the slip back in my pocket, double and triple checked that it was there and wasn't going to fall out, and headed to the Nexus for work. I got there (a whole two minute ride on my skateboard) and immediately went online to add my class. Somehow, in that short window, I managed to lose the post it again. I was starting to think that it just wasn't meant to be, but luckily my memory proved strong, and after a few tries I remembered the code and added the class.

This morning I was super frustrated and was ready to take an angry picture and write a post bitching about everything. I'm gonna postpone that for at least a day, though, and just celebrate my tiny victory.
