I really like shoes. I finally had to retire my shoes from Day 51 and after almost a year, I figured it was time to get some new kicks. 
 

I went with something white. It was almost my duty to take a picture because they'd never be this clean again. It was a fairly simple picture, inspired by a Nike ad that I saw recently. I used a 430ex IIwith a cheap sync cable for this picture. I placed it to the left of the camera and strapped a Honl 1/8" grid on that puppy. After a little photoshoppin' I was good to go. 


I was thinking about it today, and it's funny how this project affects my life. I've needed new shoes for a long time, but today I didn't have a good picture lined up, so instead of taking a crummy picutre, this project forced me to buy the shoes that I've needed. I'm still not sure whether or not that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm stoked on my shoes nonetheless!
