Jordan came down to visit. We were walking around IV trying to figure out what to eat and a bum was very impressed with Jordan's t-shirt. So impressed that, when we walked passed him again on our way home, he handed Jordan this. He hand crafted a flower made out of a piece of palm leaf.  


I thought it was pretty cool, so I set up my 430EX II, slapped a 1/8" grid on it and started playing around. The grid makes the light super directional, but in close it still had a little softness to it. By aiming it just above the leaf, I got some nice falloff from the top of the frame to the bottom.


It was a slow day but it was nice, I finally feel like I've recovered from midterms.
