Today we had sound check for Reel Loud. We've only practiced once, but my band of all-stars is ready. Now I just need to prepare myself...
 

I've never sang to more than 15 people before, and usually that's around a campfire. It's rare that I sing into a mic, and when I do it's usually a small P.A. system. Today, I stood up on the stage while my film played and I heard my voice echo back at me, washing over 800 empty seats. Butterflies thrashed around inside my stomach and my knees buckled and I felt alive.
