Today was my Experimental/Avant Garde Film final, and I got to screen a movie on the big screen in the theater.
And for the most part, I was happy with my movie. I was up until 4 AM trying to finish, and then I had to get up at 9 to make sure it worked right, so it was a wee bit stressful. But it got done, and it looked absolutely EPIC on a big screen. Afterwords, someone told me it scared them because it was intense, and I'm taking that as a compliment. Once I get the video online I'll post it here, but it's almost not even worth watching on a laptop!
And while I had a cool idea to take a picture during my movie, I was so excited that I forgot to set my camera up in time. But this shot will do just as well, it's my friend Sean's project in action. He took a bunch of footage of disembodied hands and arms that were making tickling motions and hooked it up to a projector. Then he had Joe (in the white shirt) stand in front of the class with the images projected onto him. THEN he invited the entire class to come tickle Joe. Our professor refused to participate, asking if we'd ever read the sexual harassment policy at the school, but that didn't stop a few adventurous students. Overall, it was one of the most fun final exams I've ever had, everyone's projects were awesome!
