Today was my gnarly day for finals. Two essays due in the morning and a film final in the afternoon. I stopped by the library and I thought I was hallucinating when I looked in the mirror. I saw John, Paul, George and Ringo. Turns out it was just a cool art installation in the bathroom! 


The artist was a 2nd year UCSB student, Gabby Dimaranan. She wrote about the piece on her blog here, and I have to say I really liked what she did! It's a nice, fun little stress reliever, you can't help but laugh when you check it out. The hard part, though, was trying to line my face up for a picture:




The camera would have to be in front of my face to get it perfect, so it took some time to figure out how to get it. This was my best attempt. I spent an awkward amount of time in the bathroom trying to pull it off. The whole time there was a guy pinching a loaf in the stall, meanwhile I had a camera balanced on my head taking pictures, the whole thing was ridiculous. I couldn't help but laugh, and finally the stench got to me, so I figured this would have to do.

I was really stoked on this. The artist decorated 4 different bathrooms, I checked out both of the guys ones and they were awesome. I really hope the library keeps embracing things like this!
