Today our Xbox doled out the red ring of death. 

I've never been a big gamer. I'd play occasionally, but it's never something that I craved or couldn't live without. And then recently we got an Xbox in our house with FIFA 09 and all of that changed. 


I've never been a huge soccer fan, I barely understand the rules. But then I started playing FIFA and I came to appreciate 'the beautiful game'. I got addicted to playing, partially because it was around and there was always someone willing. After a serious FIFA binge last weekend, our Xbox started acting up and now it's broken, which means I can't play. It's legitimately having an effect on me to the point where I'm considering dropping some dough for a new Xbox. I've never been so addicted to a video game!
