Today I graduated from UCSB.
I almost don't know what to say. I am a completely different person than I was when I stepped foot on campus three years ago. I learned a lot about myself, learned even more about film, and met some people that I will be friends with for the rest of my life. It was truly an amazing experience.
I had a pretty big cheering section today, which was awesome. My parents, brothers and sister, grandparents, and Kathy and the kids all came out, and Amy even flew in from Texas which was awesome. Less than a handful of people in my family have gotten a BA, so my parents were proud to say the least. When I graduated high school, my dad put me up on his shoulders and paraded me around. When he saw me after the ceremony, he immediately knelt down and said, "Common Aaron, just like last time," and we walked like this all the way out! I felt like the girl from Day 82, just a couple hundred pounds heavier
What's next? who knows, but I'll be a Gaucho 'til I die!
