350/365, a photo by Aaron LaRue on Flickr.
I sat in one spot for most of today learning about New Wave Cinema, and the ONLY exciting thing I did was cook some macaroni for dinner. Everyone was so hungry that I could only snap a cell phone pic before it was devoured. It's probably because my mom's recipe is so delicious....
Cook 2 cups macaroni or egg noodles
Saute one chopped onion with 4 cloves of garlic in 1 TBSP of olive oil and 1 TBSP of butter
Add salt/pepper to saute mix with a touch of cayenne to taste
Chop 2 cups ham and add to onion mixture
Whisk 1/2 heavy cream and 1 cup milk and 3 eggs
Mix macaroni, onion mix and milk mixture
Then add 2 cups mozzarella cheese, 1 cup parmesan, and 1 cup cheddar.
Mix all then top with 1 cup mozzarella or cheddar
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes and enjoy!
Thanks Ma!
