Today I played in a turkey bowl.
Every year my friend Stephen's family gets together and plays some flag football, and for the last couple of years I have been lucky enough to be invited. It's just flag football, and it's all for fun, but it gets really competitive really quickly.
This year was really fun, I had a solid showing with 3 TD's and a pick (which Dustin should share partial credit for, considering he was juggling the ball in the air like a circus performer and pretty much handed it to me). My team dominated, and Brian kept up his turkey bowl tradition of losing every year which was pretty awesome. The best part, though, is that we were all dying afterwords. This picture was post game, and NOT ONE of us was willing to stand up for this picture (which was graciously taken by Big Steve). I can already tell you, not one of these faces will be smiling two days from now as we hobble about our daily lives. And I can also say with full confidence that everyone here would tell you it was totally worth it.
