Day 32

32/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

Today was an exciting, but almost kind of sad day. This is my camera, and it's about to be retired.
I've had this camera for about a year. In that time, I've taken about 5000 pictures with it. I've shot stuff with models, portraits of my family, wildlife, action spots, and everything in between. It's been a trooper, and doing it's job and never complaining. Unfortunately, I have outgrown it, and the time has come for me to move on. Like that first love in middle school, I will always remember this camera.

It is going on to better things, though. Unlike most retired cameras, that are doomed to sit in a drawer, or worse in someone's camera bag as a backup, my little rebel will keep on keepin' on in the hands of the one and only Erin McClanahan. And knowing her, it's probably going to go a lot more places then I have taken it.

I shot this picture in my kitchen. Nice blue wall in the background that I blurred out. Busted out my flashes and put one above my camera through an umbrella. I held another flash to the left of the camera to fill in some shadows and voila! Nice professional looking product shot, quick and easy.
