Today I forgot to take my camera out with me and I missed the shot I had planned on getting. In the end though, I think it worked out for the best. By the end of this year, I want to try to take portraits of all of my family members, so today was a great opportunity to shoot my brother Blayke.
I think the picture of my baby sister on the first day was a great way to start the project off, and hopefully I can slowly work my way up the ages. After I missed out on the picture I wanted to take earlier today, I had to coax Blayke into sitting for me. He was reluctant, but I guess it was good practice in working with an unwilling subject. From set up to tear down, I did this in ten minutes because he was impatient (he had very important business to tend to apparently). Overall, I'm stoked with it, and I hope I can turn this family portrait thing into a cool little series. Lord knows I'll need help filling the other 354 days.
