Day 2

We left on a family vacation up to our house in Laughlin last night. The community we live in has an pioneer kind of feel, with old wooden bridges, water wheels, and rusted rod-iron fencing worked in wherever possible.

I've always wanted to take a picture of this old bridge because it's construction is pretty authentic (at least to me). I used HDR photography for this because I like the way it enhances the wood grain (plus I'm still trying to fine-tune my HDR process). Overall it was good practice, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Now to figure out what I'm going to do for tomorrow...
