Day 9

9/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

About a month ago, I shot a movie about two stoners who get struck by lightning, and I got really excited about getting to light the smoke.

Day 8

I am, admittedly, the worst golfer there is. I make Charles Barkley look graceful, and that is exactly why I love this picture.

I rolled out of bed today and came to a realization: it's time for me to get a haircut.

Day 6

6/265, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

Today was awesome, but kind of a failure as far as this project is concerned. I actually really like the photo I went with, but I feel like I missed some opportunities...

Day 5

5/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.
This one is getting posted a little late, I was having some internet issues at our hotel yesterday. We went to Las Vegas yesterday for a wedding and I have to admit, I was a little overwhelmed. I had never been before, and there is WAY too much to do in the short day and a half that I had there.

Day 4

4/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.
We spent most of today out on the boat, so not a lot of time for pictures. Luckily I was able to coerce Garrett into taking this one of me and Austin on a pirate ship. nbd.

All natural light, taken with my canon point-and-shoot camera.

Day 3

3/365, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.

The sky was beautiful last night, there's almost no light pollution where I'm at in Arizona. Rather than just take a picture of the stars, I wanted to see if I could put something in the foreground and balance the exposure.

We left on a family vacation up to our house in Laughlin last night. The community we live in has an pioneer kind of feel, with old wooden bridges, water wheels, and rusted rod-iron fencing worked in wherever possible.

Day 1 (June 22, 2010)

Fayth, 6/22/10, originally uploaded by Aaron LaRue.
I am going to take a picture every day for a year.

It seems like a good idea (right now anyway). I know it's going to be hard, and I know I will probably struggle with it after a few weeks, but it's something I want to do. I think taking a picture of myself every day is extremely narcissistic, so I'm going not going to limit myself. I'm going to do portraits, landscapes, experiments, HDR, and
